Helpful tweak – this allowed me to work instead of continually restart VS today:

Hacking Visual Studio to Use More Than 2Gigabytes of Memory

Though my VS instance is “only” getting into the 1GB range,

it was still crashing regularly when Resharper was installed. I guess the total memory being used pushed it over the top.

I would see the crash at arond 800MB, so this clip today was a real win for me.
